The OM/WT side just couldnt cope with the two inside forwards and it took 15 minutes before they got on the scoreboard, Evan Clarke had added another goal with an incredible solo effort which started near the sideline and ended up in the net. At half-time the game was over as a contest with Kiltale leading 9-14 to 0-04 thanks to more scores from McDonnell and Matthews and Eoghan Frayne chipping in with a goal and placed balls.

Kiltale did the double over Kildalkey in their snatch victory in the Div 1 League final on Saturday 18th October in Trim having already overcome the village in the SHC semi-final three weeks earlier. Alas, Pat O'Halloran's last hurrah was to end with the narrowest of defeats to Kiltale who had won the SHC a week earlier. The score was Kildalkey 1-16 to 4-08 Kiltale.Match Report Here.

After the heartache of last week, the village was boosted this week when the Ladies Caomgie team won the Intermediate Camogie Championship in Longwood on Saturday 4th October. They now move up to the Senior ranks for 2015. Match Report Here. They have made great strides in recent years with having won the Junior Championship in 2012 and now the Intermediate Championship after only two years in the division. Great credit is due all involved. They beat neighbours Boardsmill by a score of 3-11 to 3-06.

First round - Kiltale 1-19, Kildalkey 2-10.Second round - Kiltale 1-19, Killyon 0-14; Kildalkey 3-23, Dunderry 0-3.Third round - Kiltale 8-16, Blackhall Gaels 0-10; Kildalkey 0-21, Boardsmill 1-11.Fourth round - Kiltale 3-26, Boardsmill 0-7; Kildalkey 1-16 Killyon 2-12.Fifth round - Kiltale w/o Dunderry scr; Kildalkey 0-20, Blackhall Gaels 1-12.Quarter-final - Kildalkey 2-14, Ratoath 0-11.Semi-finals - Kiltale 2-17, Kilmessan 0-15; Kildalkey 1-12, Dunboyne 0-14.

Many would say that is a fair reflection of the gap between the sides and it is hard to argue against it going on current form. While, neither outfit set the 'Pairc' alight in their respective semi-final, Kiltale never looked like losing against Kilmessan, but Kildalkey were pushed to the pin of their collar against Dunboyne in what can only be described as a drab affair, but semi-finals are for winning and that's all that mattered on the day.

As they have done all season, Kildalkey's matches have been played in wet conditions, and today was no exception. As Kildalkey put up the scores on the board, the weather improved with the sun shining on a glorious victory. Kildalkey responded with a point and then took over the match scoring more freely as Trim struggled to get out of their own half for long periods of the game. 30/09/2012Congratulations to the Kildalkey Ladies who captured the Meath Junior Camogie Champions 2012 with a victory over Trim by a score of 4-05 to 1-01 at Boardsmill today. The match started in wet blustery conditions as Trim opened the scoring with a point.

Also Heavey would bring some physicality to that central battle and he would 'mix it' with the Kiltale duo. Kildalkey need a bit of experience in midfield and it baffles me why Sean Heavey has not played there more this year. The former Meath captain by his own standards is not having the best of years and he has been played corner forward on more than one occasion, but his experience in the middle of the park would be invaluable against the Forde/Kelly combination.
